I've been on the program 3 weeks and 3.5 lbs down Just when I was getting use to my 29 points they magically dropped to 27 after my last weigh in. I wasn't even use to 29!
It takes awhile to get use to a new eating plan. I realized that it is all the grazing I do that gets me into trouble. A piece of candy here, a bite of a croissant there. My go to food of choice is savory/salty so a lot of bread, cheese, chips, pizza, etc. Then to off set it, I would have one small piece of chocolate. And so went the vicious cycle!
The bottom line is that I wasn't feeling well. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My clothes weren't fitting and I looked puffy. I had to make a change. It's a no brainer that I feel better when I'm eating right, but it was easier to eat crappy and feel bad. I know that I have an overall problem of not feeling worthy that bleeds into my career, my social life and my eating habits. Eating to fill an emotional need and not a nutritional need.
Every day that I make a better choice in my life it spills over into other areas of my well being. It takes effort to make a change and it doesn't come over night, but it's well worth it in the long run. Just keep looking two steps ahead and try not to look back!
